Impact Assessment Documents
The Authority is required to set out arrangements for impact assessing and consulting on the likely impact of new functions/proposed policies on the promotion of the six diversity strands (age, disability, gender, race, religion and sexual orientation).
An impact assessment is defined as the process of identifying future consequences of current or proposed action in terms of the diversity strands, and the task of taking all possible actions to ensure that members of the diversity community are not adversely affected in comparison to the overall population.
You will find below various impact assessments that have so far been completed. Work is still being carried out in this area to ensure all the Authority’s policies and procedures have been impact assessed.
